Meaghan Dennison

Meaghan Dennison is the founder and CEO of The Forward Fund. Before leading The Forward Fund, Meaghan was the CEO of the Cape Fear Collective (CFC), a social innovation nonprofit based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Meaghan joined CFC as director of programs in 2019. While at CFC, she helped implement the Cape Fear Region’s Healthy Opportunities Network Pilot. Before leading CFC, Meaghan served as director of leadership development for the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, a workforce development consultant for Duke Energy, and government affairs for the N.C. Chamber.

Meaghan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Business Administration from Appalachian State University. Meaghan, her husband, Andrew, and their beloved dog, Harvey, reside in Wilmington. Together with friends, they opened The Half Sandwich and Beverage in 2022. During her free time, Meaghan teaches yoga at local studios.
